POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Marketing Solutions Account Manager to work on our Yorkshire Life portfolio. Yorkshire Life is a vibrant lifestyle magazine that offers luxury brands great advertising opportunities. The title has unrivalled coverage, award winning content and a true passion for the finer things in life. The publication is an excellent choice for high end organisations to promote their brands with our affluent and engaged audience. You will assume a pivotal role in expanding our client base through the acquisition of new business. If you are a driven sales professional with experience in prospecting, lead generation and closing sales, we would like to hear from you.
You will be selling both print and digital advertising solutions to existing and prospective clients throughout the Yorkshire region. We are looking for an individual who is great at building relationships with customers over the phone, TEAMS meetings and face to face at client meetings, understanding their needs and presenting the best solutions from a portfolio of options.Youll be working to monthly and annual sales targets as well as a range of productivity based KPIs.
Predominantly, you will be selling advertising solutions in the form of display ads or advertorials in Yorkshire Life magazine and its association digital products. However, you will have the opportunity to cross sell into our wider portfolio of luxury magazines across Cheshire, Derbyshire and Lancashire. Its important that you are digitally savvy however you will receive excellent training to bring you up to speed on SEO, social media, digital content marketing and digital display options.
You will be working from home and on a hybrid basis and must be able to travel across the wider Yorkshire region using your own vehicle. You will be expected to achieve a set amount of face to face visits each week.
You will be supported by a manager who will guide you with calls, training, 1-1's and team meetings. Your team manager is extremely supportive and experienced ensuring you are set up for success.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Media/advertising sales background (ideally)
- Proven B2B client facing sales background
- Drive and passion to build a repeat customer base
- Consultative sales approach
- Strong diary management and organisational skills
- Experience in managing and developing new business opportunities.
- Determination to achieve and exceed targets
